Farm Fresh Eggs
Our egg layers are free ranged and provided supplemental organic feed. The eggs are unwashed and unrefrigerated to help with transport from our farm to you. Eggs are available in cartons of 6, 12, or 18. On each carton will be a label identifying when the eggs were laid. Most of the time the eggs will just be 1-2 days old when they reach you, no more than a week old. There will also be a care card inside of the carton with tips on washing and storing fresh eggs (limited to first purchase). *There is a limited quantity of eggs, so this is first come-first serve and availability may change weekly.

Pasture Raised Chicken Meat
Our broilers are started in a brooder until feathered enough to withstand outdoor temperatures without additional heat. Typically, about 3 weeks. Then they are moved to a chicken tractor to spend the rest of their time grazing fields and chasing bugs while being protected from predators. The chicken tractor is moved every morning to provide fresh grass for the broilers to enjoy. At about 8 weeks the meat is harvested, packaged, and frozen. *Meat is only available during certain times of the year. We are working on being able to offer this monthly.

Freshly Milled Whole Wheat Flour
Our flour is milled from Non-GMO wheat berries and we have two types available- Soft White, and Hard White. Hard White Wheat is perfect for making homemade breads; whereas Soft White Wheat is best for baking goods such as cookies, cakes, muffins, brownies, etc. To ensure freshness, we will mill the flour within 24 hours of delivery to you and list the date the flour was milled on your invoice. The flour will be stored in a Mosquito Hill Farm marked container and you will be charged a container deposit. This deposit will be refunded to you when the container is returned.
FACTS: Freshly milled flour is chock-full of nutrients. The bran is high in fiber, has a good amount of proteins, and enzymes that help with digestion. The germ is the smallest part of the kernel, but it contains the highest density of nutrients- mostly fatty acids and a lot of vitamin E. It is ideal to use freshly milled flour within 30-40 days because it is fresh. After 30-40 days it begins to lose the fresh milled flavor due to oxidation.

Fermented Garlic Honey
Our fermented garlic honey is packed full of nutrients from locally sourced, raw, unprocessed honey and organic garlic. This garlic honey can be used as a dressing, sauce, or can even be consumed on its own and has many benefits. These benefits include boosting the immune system, improving digestion, reducing inflammation, supporting heart health, and many more.

Pasture Raised Beef
Although we do not have our own beef products available at Mosquito Hill, we partner with GNG Farms to provide you with fresh pasture raised beef.
